This first stage is very simple and straightforward. I have twins so I make these portions, you might want to make less or freeze them. In the early stages, they will not eat more than a few teaspoons, to eliminate waste, make the purees and store in little bowls in the freezer. Then defrost overnight in the fridge for the next day and warm with microwave or in a small saucepan on the stove. Add as much milk as you want for the consistency just before feeding baby. I had one puree making day each week but you can make smaller portions each day if you prefer. I love this stage; the faces they make, spitting it out and acceptance. Enjoy your baby weaning process!
