Hi, I’m Chef Braakman—a Nigerian-born, Dutch-by-love mama of twins and triplets, a survivor of five rounds of IVF, three miscarriages, and a daily warrior of PCOS. By God’s grace, I wear many aprons: nutritional therapist, sourdough baker, chef, faith-led encourager, and globe-trotting expat wife.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve lived in 7 countries, learned new languages, navigated life as a foreign student in Canada, and journeyed through the complexities of interracial marriage, racism, and identity as a naturalized Dutch citizen. Through it all, I’ve found my anchor in my God and my calling in nourishing both bodies and souls.
With over 50 countries visited, I believe food and faith are universal languages. Whether I’m baking sourdough or scripture, unpacking PCOS-friendly nutrition, or sharing travel tips for big families, I do it with purpose: to inspire women to heal, grow, and flourish—right where they are.
This platform is my altar and my table. A space for faith, food, fertility, family, and freedom. I’m here to share it all—the beauty, the brokenness, and the breakthroughs—so you know you’re never alone.
Welcome to my world. Let’s rise together.
