Enjoy your granola without all that hidden sugar! This recipe is delicious and surprisingly easy to make. This can be enjoyed with plain yogurt and fresh berries or with a bowl of milk. It lasts up to two weeks if stored in an airtight container.Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 3 cups old fashioned (rolled oats)
- ⅓ cup slivered or sliced almonds (you can also chop up whole almonds)
- ⅓ unsweetened flaked coconut
- ⅓ cup shelled sunflower seeds
- ⅓ cup shelled pumpkin seeds
- ⅓ cup coarsely chopped walnuts
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves (or crush about 4 whole ones in a stone grinder)
- ¼ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ cup coconut oil or vegetable oil (do not use olive oil)
- ¼ cup pure maple syrup or pure honey
- ⅓ cup raisins
- ⅓ cup dried cranberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 165˚C
- Combine oats and all nuts and seeds (do not add the dried fruits as they will burn in the oven) in a large bowl
- Mix all spices in a small bowl and sprinkle over oat mixture
- Add oil and honey/maple to mixture and mix thoroughly
- Spread evenly on a parchment paper lined baking tray and bake for 30 minutes, stir halfway through to prevent burning. Stir occasionally in the last 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and add raisins and cranberries immediately and mix well. Let cool down before storing in airtight container.
